First, Welcome!

What an exciting adventure you are about to go on!

Our Founder relocated to Grand Rapids in 2008 from Miami and is now proud to call GR her adopted hometown.

If I had to guess I’d say you are probably in the information gathering stage of the relocation process, which is why you’ve landed on this page.

You’ve probably been stalking local homes on Zillow, building Pinterest boards, and researching the best neighborhoods in the area! All of those are great activities.

Wondering Which GR Neighborhoods you should be looking in?

Check out our Buzzfeed-style quiz to get started!

Below we’ve put together some information for your review.

When you’re ready to start looking for your next place give us a call!  We are excited to welcome you to this fantastic city!

Just for Fun, we’ve listed 5 reasons we think Grand Rapids is the Best Place to Live

  1. DOWNTOWN SCENE

Our Downtown is at 95% occupancy and there has been a significant push to make it both accessible and inviting to locals and visitors. We have the Arena, theater, hotel district, and numerous eateries to keep you entertained any night of the week.

  2. NATURAL RESOURCES

West Michigan has an abundance of year-round natural resources. Well known for it’s Lakeshore (no salt water, YAY), it’s also home to fantastic hikes, boating, skiing, and a County-wide paved trail system

  3. BEER AND COFFEE CULTURE

Craft beer has certainly had a surge in the area over the last 10 years but right along-side it and a little bit quieter is the craft coffee culture in Grand Rapids. Less that a mile from each other you can check out Founders Brewing, Grand Rapids Brewing, Lantern Coffee Lounge, Madcap Coffee and numerous neighborhood breweries in between. Check out our Beer and Coffee Guides.

  4. OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ARTS

Okay. This is one of our faves. Grand Rapids has become well known internationally for our commitment to the arts. Two festivals have helped; Festival of the Arts which is a 3-day festival celebrating local artists in June and ArtPrize which takes over the first three weeks of fall and turns the Downtown into a interactive gallery.

  5. INNOVATION AND INVESTMENT IN LOCAL SCHOOLS

We have a young city, and in nearly every school district Residents have passed millage to improve facilities and increase technology access. In addition, Grand Rapids Public Schools which is a Top 20 employer in GR, has diversified it’s traditional school offerings to include Environmental sciences, Museum school, Zoo school, Creative arts academy AND Parent University to name a few.

The Market

We are in a strong seller’s market in West Michigan.

During each showing we will talk about what the sellers of that home are looking for in an offer and what the neighborhood trends are for pricing.

When you’re ready to make an offer, we’ll work to make sure it stands out from the crowd in this competitive market.

Your Relocation Team

We LOVE working with relocation buyers and aim for a WOW-worthy experience!

A lot of our clients are surprised to find out that the buyer’s agent commission is paid by the seller – which means our team will advocate, educate, negotiate, and navigate on your behalf often at no cost to you!
